29 September 2017
Event Navigation
The EU-MADE4LL European project
Digital literacy and proficiency in a foreign language for international communication are essential requirements for graduates’ access to today’s labour market. While the two are often held separate in higher education curricula, there is a strong need for designing courses that integrate abilities for the creation and critical interpretation of multimodal digital texts, such as weblogs, websites, CVs, corporate and user-generated videos, and video-based interactions.
Therefore, the EU-MADE4LL project aims to design, implement and test a transnational joint syllabus that integrates multimodal digital literacy and English for international communication and support international cooperations.
The Workshop
The consortium partners organize a one-day workshop to disseminate the project activities and to discuss common practices and experiences in the areas of multimodality, digital texts and international communication and cooperation.
Teachers and educators are invited to present their success stories and to share experiences and ideas on how to improve international communication by means of digital technologies.
Developers and users of the EU-MADE4LL collaborative platform, as well as experts in language learning and multimodality will attend the workshop and meet educators interested in discussing system functionalities, exchange ideas and discuss how to support specific learning scenarios.
